However, Mukesh Bansal will first spend time with his family. He plans to take a leave for the next 3-6 months.
A few weeks after the top -level reshuffle in Flipkart, there are various speculations about Mukesh Bansal’s resignation. In this reshuffle, former Chief Operating Officer of the company, Binny Bansal, had made CEO of the company. After this, there were reports that Mukesh was angry with Binny Bansal to be given the post of CEO. However, in his letter, he said, “Binny will work to take Flipkart forward with top officials and talented employees associated with the company.”
Mukesh Bansal said that he would leave the company at the end of March. At the same time, Nagori will remain connected to the company till the next quarter.
Bansal, a graduate in Computer Science from IIT, Kanpur, founded Mantra in 2007. He later sold it to Flipkart. Bansal joined Flipkart at the time of the acquisition of Fashion Italler Miningra in 2014 by Flipkart and will remain the company’s advisor.
