Existing Skype users can shift to Microsoft Groups.

Microsoft has announced that Skype users can log in to Microsoft Groups from their existing credentials. Skype users will be completely free to enter Microsoft Groups. Skype users will get all the features free including calling, messaging, file sharing, meeting or community joining the group.
The company says that if a Skype user logs into groups in groups with its existing credentials, then its chat and contacts will come to the team themselves. That is, the users can start further by logging in the teams from where the logs were done in Skype. Users will also have the option to use teams with Skype. But this is only for a few days because both platforms can be used till 5 May. Skype will be closed on 5 May. After that only groups will be able to use.
