Aadhaar is a national identity card to be issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India. Today, most Indian citizens have Aadhaar cards. Instead of filling long forms, you can verify your identity by using Aadhaar card. This will be possible through one time password or biometrics sent to your mobile. If you fear that your Aadhaar data may be misused, then you can go online and lock the base biometric data. 1. Go to the Author Authentication History page of UIDAI.
2. Enter your Aadhaar number here and along with the Capt Code seen in the picture.
3. Then click on Generate OTP. You will get oneTime password on your phone through SMS.
4. On the next page, UIDAI will get the facility to filter different authentication requests. You can apply filter in biometric, demographic and other ways. You can also check here between any particular dates. Its limit is 6 months. The last field is from OTP. Add OTP here and click on submit.
5.After this, you will be able to see the detailed details of Aadhaar Authentication Request. All these information will be found here. However, you will not know which company or agency used Aadhaar data for authentication.
