Make Lenovo laptop smart screen, Amazon’s new show-model feature

Some laptop models of Lenovo will now support Amazon’s new show-modes that converts the computer into a smart screen in the same command. With the help of this feature, you can use your laptop like a smart display. With the help of a simple voice command, you can do work from any corner of your room like setting up the trending news story, setting timer in addition to listening to music. Amazon says that this voice will be rolled out soon in the first, interactive Alexa experience Linovo’s select models such as Lenovo Yoga, Ideapad, and ThinkPad. Let us know that all these models run on Home Windows 10 software.

In a blog post, Amazon said that this new show-mode supports many Alexa features. Through this you can do many things like various subjects such as popular recipes, game play, reminder set, two-do list, reading from Audible to Alexia’s favorite audiunty etc. In addition, users can also control many compatible devices through laptops. To start the Display Form on a computer computer, you have to say- “Alexa, Open Show Mode” or Click on the Display Form button in Alexa App on your laptop.

The company told in the blog post that users with the show-mode ‘prepared it and overlook it’ can now talk to Alexa on a big screen. For this, you do not need to come in front of the laptop or do not need to go to your phone every time.

Currently, in India, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, UK and US, the show-modes will be available on select Alexa Companial models such as Lenovo Yoga, Ideapad, and ThinkPad PC. All these operate on Home Windows 10.

Lenovo first announced the show mode in CES 2021 where it was said that this feature will come first in Yoga Thin 9i, Yoga 9i, Yoga 7i, Yoga Aio 7 and Ideapad 5 series. Linovo recommends his users to get unlocked with open lids and supports the Far Mike. Amazon said that now the company is thinking of increasing the scope of compatibility and the show-mode will soon be available on other computer models by the end of the year.
