According to the Senate, the benchmark tool Mobilemark 2007 used LG Dwarra had to face severe criticism about eight years ago. The report states that the result of this tool is based on the fact that users will use laptops without Wi-Fi and very low-level brightness levels. Since the needs have completely changed in the last years, it is expected that the LG Village 14 battery with the latest benchmark tool will be able to run for 20 hours only.
LG’s new village 14 laptop weight is about 980 grams like the previous variant. But now a touchscreen variant also comes. The laptop has a 14 -inch full HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display and has Intel’s latest Cabby Lake processor. It has 16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD storage. Talking about connectivity, this phone has two USB 3.0 ports, a USB Type-C port, a microSD card slot, an HDMI port and Wi-Fi 802.11 AC. The laptop claims the fast charging feature and it comes with a fingerprint sensor for Windows Hello Support.
However, the claim made by the company may vary at the time of real use. Therefore, it would be better to say that this laptop will get more battery life than the previous variant. According to The Verge report, the mobilemark benchmark tool for 2014 says that the LG Village 14 battery will run for at least 17 hours. According to the report, LG says that the battery life in the laptop could be improved due to the loss of weight of material design. The credit for this goes to carbon magnesium alloy and new display technology.
The company has priced the new village 14 laptops in South Korea 1,420,000 Korean von (about Rs 80,900). But the company has not yet informed about the price and availability of this laptop outside its domestic market. This device will be available in Snow White and Metal Pink color variants.
