Steve Jobs, former CEO of Apple, was very fond of India and the culture here. Lauren Powell Jobs, wife of late Steve Jobs, has reached Prayagraj in this Mahakumbh (Mahakumbh 2025). In Kumbh, he is named “Kamala”. Now a letter written by Apple’s co-founder is in discussions. According to the report, the letter written in 1974 mentions Steve Jobs’ plan to attend India to attend the Kumbh Mela. Recently this letter was auctioned for $ 5 lakh 312 (about 4.32 crore rupees).

According to NDTV reports, this letter was written by Steve Jobs while addressing childhood friend Tim Brown, a day before his 19th birthday. In the letter, jobs have shared their views about Jainism and say that they should come to India for Kumbh Mela.

In the letter, Steve Jobs wrote, ‘I want to go to India for Kumbh Mela, which begins in April. I will go sometime in March, I have not taken the decision yet. At the end of the letter, ‘Shanti’ is written, which shows that Steve Jobs were very inspired by Hinduism.

According to the report, Steve Jobs had earlier planned to visit Neem Karoli Baba’s ashram in Uttarakhand. On reaching Nainital, he came to know that Neem Karoli Baba has died. However, Jobs did not lose courage and stayed in the ashram in Castard Dham and he got consolation from Neem Karoli Baba’s teachings. He spent seven months in India and completely drowned in culture and spirituality here.

Steve jobs had changed a lot when returning to America. According to the report, even his parents could not recognize him. Jobs were shaved. He was in Indian cotton clothes. His skin was deep, chocolate due to sunlight.
