Leaked data leaked of 2 crore users of bigbasket, check your data like this

A few months after the online grocery delivery platform bigbasket confirmed the data breech, now the database of more than 2 crore customers has allegedly put on the dark web. This database includes email addresses, phone numbers and printed passwords of the affected customers. The data also includes the delivery address and the date of birth of bigbasket users allegedly saved by customers. This database available for free on the dark web also includes the hidden password of users. However, another hacker claims to decryp to be some of the leaked encrypted passwords.

The database of Bigbasket has allegedly listed on the dark web. This work is done by a hacking group named Shinyhunters. This database listed online includes important information like users’ email address, name, date and phone number.

Cyber-security researcher Rajasekhar Rajaharia told Gadgets 360 that the leaked database is associated with the breech that Bigbasket himself confirmed in November last year.

Shinyhunters alleged the alleged bigbasket database available for download on the dark web in the last weekend. It is also said to be involved in the hashed passwords of the affected customers. However, it is reported that some passwords in the plane text have now been put to sell on the dark web.

Meanwhile, the website providing information to users about their data leaks “Have I Been Pwned?” Has also sent emails to inform some affected users about data leaks.

You can check the information about whether your information is in this database or not through Have I Been PWNED. You will have to enter your email id or mobile number inside the box on the home and click on the ‘Pwned’ button. This website will show information about all the agreements made with the e-mail address you have entered.
