IRECDER Display Recorder App Got Rid of Via Google Play Games Bind for Recording Audio with Out Information Customers

This is a recording app in which malware is detected. This malware can record the audio around them every 15 minutes and reach the developer without telling people.

According to the recent study of the cyber security firm ‘ESET’, the app is named IRECDER. It is a screen recorder software, which was delivering malware to the users’ devices. The app called IRECDER-Display Recorder has been removed by Google from the Play Games Collect.

According to the report, the app was installed more than 50 thousand times. It was first brought in September 2021. Then there was no malware in the app. The report says that around August 2022, the developer updated the app and had femaleware functions.

How did the app harm?

The report states that the app revealed two codes based on Ahmyth RAT. This is a tool from which many types of disturbances can be done. For example, users can be filled without their call logs, contacts and text messages without knowing. The list present in the files can be seen. The location of the device may be track. SMS can be sent. Audio can be recorded even photos can be taken.

The report says that the security of the users who installed or updated the IRECORDER app were at stake. Google has removed this app after the revelation in the ‘ESET’ study. However, nothing has been officially said about this. If this app is also present in your phone, then delete immediately.
