How are the features in IRCTC Treminous App
According to a report, the IRCTC Treminous app will bring several railway service together, which are currently controlled by different apps. Passengers will have the option to book both reserved and unreserved tickets, purchase platform tickets, track seats and trains live and access food. The IRCTC Treminous app will allegedly eliminate the requirement of apps like IRCTC Rail Connect, UTS and Rail Held.
Other media reports states that the app will not only provide ticket booking facility but will also provide many types of travel and tourism service. Users will be able to purchase Holiday Package, IRCTC tour package, hotels and more from Super IRCTC Super App. The IRCTC Treminous App was introduced in September this year. However, it is expected to rollout free for iOS and Android users this month.
It is worth noting that IRCTC will continue the management of reserve ticket booking, maintaining its role in railway ticketing. This new app integrates several functions that were earlier available on different platforms, giving passengers an easy experience. Integration with CRIS is expected to improve service in all features. In addition, the app allegedly gives IRCTC a chance to increase its revenue by including these service on a platform.
