Talking about connectivity, Intel Compute Stick has USB 2.0 port, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 features. It connects to a TV or monitor through its HDMI 1.4A port. The Linux variant of the device matches the Windows version, but has 8GB of storage and 1GB of RAM (RAM).
The Home Windows 8.1 version of Intel Compute Stick is similar to Iball Splendo PC on a Stick, which was launched for Rs 8,999 in June. Intel, during the launch of its product, has also indicated that the Compute Stick will also be available through Iball in the coming time.
On the occasion of the launch of Intel Compute Stick, Rajiv Bhalla, director of Sales and Marketing, Intel South Asia, said, “This gadget takes computing to another level and tries to give the best computing experience through a small device. We are very happy to launch this great device in India.”
