Instagram has introduced new features to add some newness to your Valentine’s Day Celebration. Two new features have been added by Meta -owned social media platforms, but it is not very easy to find them. These hidden features can be triggered only by doing something special inside the Android or iOS app. One of these features is included in the NOTES section on the Direct Message (DM) page. The second feature is hidden in the tales.

The first feature is a floating or exploding heart animation, which can be seen when using the Notes feature. Those users who write keywords related to Valentine’s Day in notes such as “Happy Valentine’s Day”, “Happy Vday”, or “Vday” will get a DM message that will show the floating hearts on the entire screen. The same effect can be seen by tapping on a note with valentine’s day-themed words.

The second feature is available in ‘Stories’. When you share a new story, you can choose a special @Point out in the sticker section. The new mention is pink in color and the mention has two hearts on either side. Using it to tag another person and then posting a story will trigger similar floating heart animation. Similarly, tapping on the story of another user along with this mentor will revive the animation.

While the features have been started and some users have also reported using them, it is not yet available to all users. According to the company, these features are being introduced on the occasion of Valentine’s Moment, but they will remain in the app till Thursday.

Meta-owned platform is also using Artificial Intelligence (AI)-with based features. Recently, a report puts the light on the fact that Instagram is working on an AI message-lighting feature that would allow users to re-write, interpret and stylistic changes to the messages written in chat.
