Indian Astronaut to Journey Iss Sooner Than Gaganyaan Undertaking Says Minister Jitendra Singh Loksabha

Gaganyaan Undertaking: Rapid work is being done to make the country’s first human space mission ‘Gaganyaan’ successful. Earlier this year, the Government of India had named four Astronauts that would fly to space under this mission. Now Union Minister Jitendra Singh has told in the Lok Sabha that one of the astronauts taking training for the mission will be sent to the International Space Station (ISS) along with the Mission of the US Space Agency NASA (ISS).

According to PTI language report, Singh said in a written reply to a question that NASA has identified the private company Axiom Space (Axiom). ISRO has signed an agreement with the American company for the International Space Station (ISS).

During the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to America last year, US President Joe. Biden had announced that India and the US were cooperating in 2024 to send an Indian astronaut to ISS.

India has selected four passengers from a group of Indian Air Force pilots for the Gaganyaan Mission. The Gaganyaan Mission is to be launched next year. Singh said that all Indian astronauts have taken basic training in Russia. Right now these passengers are taking trending in ISRO’s center in Bangalore.

The Gaganyaan project may have been delayed, but ISRO has not shown haste for this mission. The mission is designed in such a way that it will be able to achieve success only in the first attempt. If everything goes well, after America, Russia and China, India will become the fourth country in the world to send humans in space.

What will Indian Astronaut eat in space
