The government has provided the option to help you keep your driving license safe in your phone or keep a soft copy of it through Digilocker or MPARIN APP. This is especially useful when you forget to take your driving license along. Also, keeping your driving license in your smartphone helps to protect its hard copy from being lost or stolen.

In 2018, the government issued an advisory for the states to accept the driving license and vehicle habitation stored in the Digilocker and MPARIN APP. 1. Go to the Digilocker Web Site and sign in with your username and six digit PIN. Then you will get one-time password (OTP) on your registered phone.
2. Once after signing in Get Issured Paperwork (Documents issued) Click on the button.
3. Now, see the word “Driving License” in the search bar.
4. Select the state government from where you have got your driving license. Alternatively, you All states Can select the option.

6. Digilocker will now get your driving license from the Transport Department.
