HP launches 12 -hour cheaper laptop giving battery life


HP has lifted the curtain from its affordable Chromebook 11G5. The price of this laptop will start at $ 189 (about Rs 12,800). It will be available online from July and sales will start from the month of October through offline retail stores.

This laptop will come with Chrome OS interface, that is, support for Android app will be present in the laptop. Google recently released a list of chrombooks that come with Google Play Support. During this time it was also told that users will be able to use Android apps on all new devices. A variant of this laptop also has support for touchscreen. It is a great feature worth using.

Talking about specification, you will get two options for the display. Users will be able to choose between 11.6-inch HD (1366×768 pixels) IPS touchscreen display and 11.6 inch HD (1366×768 pixels) anti-glare standard display equipped with Gorilla Glass Protection. The HP Chromebook 11G5 has 2 GB or 4 GB RAM with INTAL CELERON N3060 (dual-core, 2 MB cache, 2.40 GHz clock speed). It also has HP Truvision HD webcam. In storage, you will get the option of 16 GB or 32 GB.

The touchscreen variant weighs 2.51 kg while the standard model has 2.61 kg. Apart from this, the battery of HP Chromebook 11G5 touchscreen variants will last for 11 hours after being fully charged. The standard model battery will last for 12 hours 30 minutes. Both models will come with two USB 3.1 ports and a headphone jack.

HP says the Chromebook 11G5 has been designed keeping in mind the students and teachers. The company is eyeing the market related to education. The company took feedback from the students using Chromebook for this and was implemented.
