The lockdown in Uttar Pradesh has been extended till the morning of May 10, due to the rapidly increasing cases of Corona virus epidemic in the state. With the extension of lockdown, the government has also made e-pass mandatory for traveling outside the home during the lockdown. The state government will issue e-pass for traveling within and outside the state. The government has informed through a notice that only people associated with essential services will be allowed to go out during the lockdown with passes. Now you will be able to see a new section on the website of Uttar Pradesh Government, through which you can apply for e-pass.

According to the notice passed by the Uttar Pradesh government, only people associated with medical supplies, e-commerce operations, medical emergency and print and electronic media will be issued e-pass. This e-pass can be used only during lockdown. Let us now know how to apply for online e-pass.

Easy methods to follow for e-pass right through Uttar Pradesh lockdown

– First of all go to Uttar Pradesh Government website.

– Now click on Follow for ePass located at the top of the window.

Now you will be asked for your number, so that the state government can register your number for e-pass and send OTP on it.

– After this you will have to write Captcha and then click on Generate OTP.

As soon as you receive the OTP, fill in the code, after which you can get the e-pass application form.

– Now give your personal information in the form like name, home address, phone number, district, tehsil, nearby area and ID proof and vehicle type. After this you will have to enter your photo in it.

– You can use Aadhar card, PAN card, license etc. as ID proof.

– The size of the soft copy should not be more than 200KB.

– Now click on the checkbox to approve.

– Now you have to click on the Publish button to submit your application. Your pass will be issued to you soon after this.
