In addition, a Digital Mahakumbh Experience Center is being set up to bring the mythological saga of Mahakumbh to the new generation through VR and digital technology. This center depicted the mythology of Mahakumbh, Triveni Sangam and Prayagraj Mahatma with the technology of virtual reality, holograms and digital projection.
8 galleries are being built at the Digital Mahakumbh Experience Center, which will demonstrate the saga of Samudra Manthan and Mahakumbh through modern digital technology. People will be able to experience the occurrence of ocean churning through virtual technology in immersive walk-way gallery.
Significantly, the major baths of Mahakumbh will start from 13 January. That day there will be a bath of Paush Purnima. Thereafter, Makar Sankranti (royal bath) on 14 January, Mauni Amavasya (Shahi Snan) on 29 January, Basant Panchami (Shahi Snan) on 3 February, Maghi Purnima on 12 February and Mahashivratri on 26 February will be held.
