Google has taken strict action against such apps. Google has reported that in 2022, it took an action against more than 3500 loan apps in India, which were violating the policy of Play Store. According to Google, it has removed such apps from Play Star.

According to the news agency PTI report, Google has said that it has removed more than 14.3 lakh apps including loan apps from the play store. These apps were not following the rules. The company has said that it has also banned 1.73 lakh bad accounts.

In a statement, Google said that in 2022 we reviewed 3500 apps in India, which were violating the rules in the name of giving personal loans. Taking strict action against him, we removed him from the Play Store. Google said that all apps were violating the rules of Play Store. Google says that its effort is to keep updating its policy and improve review process.

The company also said that in the year 2023 it will adopt more privacy-friendly approach for ads. Google is preparing to bring a technology, which it calls Privateness Sandbox. In this technology, the privacy of users on online platforms is safe. Google said that privacy sandbox will initially be rolled out as beta on some Android devices. Privacy sandbox mainly helps companies and developers and helps them to make digital businesses.

Significantly, in the last few years in India, the scope of loan apps has increased rapidly. Many loan apps cheat them in the name of giving loans to their customers. There have been cases of harassment of customers, in which money is collected from customers as well as their families. Google’s actions should be expected to reduce such cases.
