Ltpo display still limited
In most of the latest flagship smartphones, LTPO i.e. low-temperature is beginning to be used by the Paulicristine oxide panel. These displays still do not work completely completely variable refresh rate support. Their refresh rate is tied somewhere in a limit because companies give them in advance. That is, there is no full flexibility from 1Hz to 120Hz.
The company pre-kafigar is pre-coffee to the LTPO display that is specific to 1Hz, 10Hz, 30Hz, 60Hz, and 120Hz. According to the content, it keeps switching to these fixed refreshed rates. At the same time, the frame rate on the computer continues to be synchronized in real time. Therefore, there is a better experience of gaming in the computer because there is a smooth transition of frames here. But so far such flexibility was not available in Android devices.
With Android 15, Google did this direction and added the True Adaptive Refresh Rate (ARR) support to Android’s display framework. Now the screen can adjust the refrese rate in single display mode itself. However, the entire use of ARR seeks hardware compatibility. For this, the device should be supported by HWC Hal Model 3 which is available in the latest devices which are coming equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Processor.
