Good news for PhonePe users! Now you will be able to pay through UPI too!

In which players like Paytm, Google Pay, PhonePe were also included. Of these, PhonePe has gone one step further, which has now announced the facility to pay abroad as well. PhonePe is the first app that is going to start payment service abroad through UPI.

The scope of facilities for PhonePe users has now increased. This has become the first such digital payment app in which users will now be able to make international payments through UPI. According to the Economic Times report, the company has announced such a service after which users will be able to pay through Foreign Merchants through UPI. It will work in the same way that payment is made through international debit cards. The user user user can affect the bank account linked to UPI for UPI International in the app.

PhonePe says that this activation can be done either by going to the place to be paid or can be done even before traveling abroad. The facility can be commissioned by entering UPI PIN. That is, now users will not need credit cards etc. to pay outside the country. Now only through the app kept in mobile, users will be able to pay abroad as well.

The company has also released a list of some countries for this, in which this service has been started. That is, this service is being started in the countries mentioned at present, which includes UAE, Singapore, Mauritius, Nepal, Bhutan. PhonePe is the most popular digital payment app in India, which has about 50.2% stake in UPI payment. UPI International is expected to be started in more countries in the coming days. These will soon include Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, America, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom etc.
