According to The Verge’s report, the problem of the crashes of the apps started from the afternoon of Monday, March 22 and according to the Google Workspace status dashboard, the company accepted the problem at 4:35 am on 23 March.
The company admitted that users are also experiencing the problem in Gmail. Google wrote (translated) “We will give information about the time of this problem being fixed by 3/23/21, 5:35 am.”
After this, users were advised to use Gmail on the desktop until the problem is cured. Till 11:48 am, Google solved the problem in Android System webview and released 89.0.4389.105 update versions. Along with this, an update for Google Chrome was also released.
