According to a Times of India report, the Lalbazar police of Kolkata have also warned about this. It is said that people should be conscious of forced recovery calls, messages and e-mails in the name of police, central agencies and courts. Police say that no government or law-enforcement agency makes calls or video calls without written notice.

A linked user named Mohit Sharma has shared a video of a fraud call on WhatsApp on his social media account. The user told that his mother received a call. The WhatsApp caller said that his son has been arrested by the police. The caller tried to find out personal information such as name, business and also tried to harass emotionally. Mohit’s post seems to have understood this fraud. He has appealed to the people to cross everything.

It can be seen in the video that the victim has received a video call from a number 923121414741. The caller says that your son’s name is Raj? The answer is yes, then he says that Raj has been arrested with 4 more boys. He raped a 16 -year -old girl. Not only this, the policeman also claims to talk to him, asking to call Raj. In return, only crying sounds. The caller states that the charges are serious. Media and DCP are also coming. When the victim wants to know the location of the police station, the caller gives a round and cuts the call, saying that he will meet in the court tomorrow.

This is not the first case, in the past, a female teacher shared the incident with her on social media. He also received a similar call. It was claimed that his daughter had been arrested, who works in Bangalore. The woman said that the caller also talked to a girl, whose voice was like her daughter. After this, the caller grabbed about 7 thousand rupees from the woman to suppress the case. By the time she was able to verify things, financial loss was done.

The interesting thing is that the profile photo that is seen with the phone number in such WhatsApp calls is the person wearing a police uniform.
