Facebook (FB) is launching its fastest growing content format ‘Reels’ in more than 150 countries. Facebook owned Meta gave this information on Tuesday. Reels are a short video feature. In 2020, Meta launched it on Instagram and on Facebook in 2021. Reels were introduced to compete with Chinese company Bittens app Tiktok. Mark Zuckerberg of Meta has said in a Facebook post that the reels are our fastest growing content format ever and now we are providing it to everyone on Facebook.

The company says that people are now spending the most on the video on Facebook. In view of this, the company has also announced new methods of earning for the creators in the reels. According to the company, now users will be shown ad in the middle of Facebook reel. Full screen ads will also be seen soon in the reels. It will be a big income of Facebook, but some part of it will also be given to the creators.

Regarding the decline in earnings, Meta says that changing privacy in his operating system has been affected by Apple. This makes it difficult for brands to target their advertisements on Facebook and Instagram. The company has also cited massive economic issues such as the difficulties in the supply-chain. Last month, the company said that it is expected to reduce revenue growth for users due to increasing competition and connectivity to features like reels. In his announcement on Tuesday, Meta said that it will rollout an update to place Facebook reels to a new place. Under this, the reels are ready to set it to a better place.
