Sarah was working as a Global Public Policy Director at Win William Meta, Sarah worked in the company between 2011 and 2017. He had traveled continuously in countries like India, Brazil and South Korea during that time and during that time also mentioned the protest between the company and the governments there. According to the book, Facebook appointed a former police captain in India, who was also ready to go to jail when there was a protest between the company and the government.

So all Indian Facebook users saw a pop-up while logging. It has been claimed in the book that to reach more people, the team designed it in such a way that by clicking on it, the friend list of users will also be notified that they have submitted a letter to the regulatory.
Due to this, TRAI received about 17 million submissions till January 7, 2016, but on January 10, TRAI announced that he got only 1.4 million submissions. The Facebook team discovered what happened. Meta opposed the book
Meta described the claims made in the book as false and old, 8 years ago Sarah Win Williams was fired due to poor performance and bad behavior, he has been involved in anti -Facebook activities since then. Despite the protest of Meta’s US, Careless Folk book is available for sale in India.
