According to PTI reports, the industry estimates that the satellite launch market in India is expected to rise from US $ 720 million in 2022 to US $ 3.5 billion by 2033. Small satellites are likely to be the most effective for many experiments related to Earth’s observation from giving internet connectivity.
The report says that Space start-up companies like Pixxel and Satsure have already announced a plan to form a group of small satellites for their services. Indian companies try to make small satellites into orbiting desi rockets become the world’s choice.
Lieutenant General AK Bhatt (Retired), Director General of the Indian Space Association, told PTI-language that there are large rockets, but a large number of satellite launch companies do not want to wait. She wants to launch the satellite early as soon as possible. For this reason, small rockets have been prepared.
According to the report, Pixel is thinking of using ISRO’s launch vehicles to install its hyper-compactral satellites in orbit till the end of this year. Pixel CEO Awas Ahmed told PTI in July that the company would be launched with 3 spacex and three ISROs.
Hyderabad Based Skyut Aerospace has recently tested the Stage 2 engine. This will give power to Vikram-1 rocket. There is a plan to launch the rocket by the end of this year. In the same way, the Development Agnikul Cosmos by IIT-Madras can also launch its orbital rocket ‘Agniban’ next year.
