Electrical automotive gross sales in bharat surpasses

Electric vehicles (EV) sales have increased rapidly in the last few years in the country. Last month, sales of electric cars have crossed the four percent mark for the first time. It was 2.6 percent in the same month of last year. In April this year, the cells of electric cars were around 3.5 percent.

According to data from the Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA), electric cars have been sold in May 12,304 units. It was 8,029 units in the same month of last year. However, the sales of passenger vehicles have declined. Tension is the main reasons in the border states like Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan and Gujarat due to a situation like weakening of consumer sentiment, increasing inventory, war with Pakistan. Tata Motors have the highest stake in the market of electric cars.

However, FADA says that the impact of interactions in the international supply chain and the stress between some countries may affect EV’s manufacturing. This is estimated to increase the cost of electric vehicles. Recently, a report reported that Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of registered EVs. Uttar Pradesh has about 4.14 lakh registered EVs. After this, the capital Delhi is about 1.83 lakh EVS. Maharashtra ranks third with around 1.79 lakh EVs. The number of people buying electric vehicles in these states has increased due to the FAME scheme of the central government and EV policy of the states.

Uttar Pradesh has benefited the most from the Central Government Fame (Sooner Adoption and Production of Hybrid and Electrical Automobiles). This has also strengthened the state government’s efforts to increase electric mobility. Uttar Pradesh also has its electric vehicle manufacturing and mobility policy. The purpose of this policy is to increase the number of EVS and create strong charging infrastructure. The state government is projected to get an investment of about Rs 30,000 crore in the sector of electric mobility and about 10 lakh jobs with this policy. Recently, the Uttar Pradesh government had said that it has given approval to set up more than 300 new EV charging stations in 16 municipal bodies.
