TV viewers have to choose the channel of their choice by 1 February 2019. Under TRAI’s new framework, viewers will now pay only for those channels they want to watch. The good thing is that major DTH operators in India have announced the prices of new channel packs. DISH TV has also announced.

1. First of all go to Dish TV website. Here the first banner itself will give the option to choose your choice under the new framework of TRAI. Click on Click on Right here button given on the banner.
2. Now log in with your Dish TV ID. If you do not have an ID then login after registering yourself.
3. As soon as you login, you will reach the page in which the facility to choose the channel is given. The channel category at the top is – English, Hindi, Infotainment, Youngsters, Sports activities. Below this you will see the list of channels.
4. First you will see the channel in Ala-Carte format. If you want, you can also choose between DISH Combo and Bouquests. Here you can choose the channel of your choice as per your need.
5. The good thing is that when you select a channel, you will see a cart. Here the number of channels of standard definition and high definition will be visible.
6. After selecting the channel, click on the Advance button. Your channel or pack selection is done.

1. First of all download Dish TV app on your phone. Login using ID. The first banner in the app will be of TRAI’s new framework. Tap on it.
2. On the next page, you will get the facility to select channels like on the Dish TV website. The top category is – English, Hindi, Infotainment, Youngsters, Sports activities.
3. Below this you will see the list of channels. Here there is an option of DISH Combo, Channels and Bouquests. From here you can choose the channel as per your choice.
4. At the bottom of this screen you will see YOUR CART. By clicking from here you can know how many channels you have selected. When you feel that you have made the Dish TV pack of your choice. Click on Your Cart. On the next page tap on Advance. This way you will be able to choose your pack.
To use the service of Dish TV, you will have to make a minimum payment of Rs 153. In this you will get a total of 100 channels. If you select more than 100 channels. You will have to pay extra for every 25 channel slab. If you choose more than 15 additional channels then Rs 24 will be charged extra. For less than 15 channels, you will have to pay Rs 1 extra (exclusive of tax) for each channel. It has been told that every HD channel will be considered as two channels.
