Discovery of 150 Million Moment Impaired Jurassic Cut Tailed Chicken Fossil in China

Scientists related to the development of birds have been a new discovery. Chinese scientists have discovered a fossil of a bird, which is said to be 150 million years old. Its name is Beminornis Zhengensis found in the Jhangh County, Fujian Province. Researchers say that the discovery of this fossil will make the information about the development of birds more deeper.

Seeing the fossil of this bird 15 million years old, many things are known. It has a small tail that ends in pigostyle. This is the same feature that is also found in today’s birds. This shows that the birds we are seeing at present must have developed long ago. This difference can be 2 crore years old. That is, the history of the development of birds has been believed to be 2 crore years and earlier. This discovery indicates that birds’ development took place even before the earlier estimate of scientists.

The interesting fact about this fossil is that it shows both modern and ancient symptoms. Its shoulders are like birds and pelvic girdle is also the same. But its hands are like dinosaurs. Wang Min, the chief scientist of the Chinese Science Academy, says that seeing such symptoms, it creates a mysterious combination. According to educationist Zhou Zhonghe, this discovery challenges the previous beliefs.

Earlier, Archaeopteryx was the only known bird of the Jurassic period. But the new fossil discovered suggests that other early birds were also present during that time. The intensive study of the fossil shows that it was moving on the path of development towards modern birds. The team says that a mixture of old and advanced characteristics in this ancient bird is an example of mosaic evolution. Researchers say that the discovery of this fossil will make the information about the development of birds more deeper.
