Wang Min, the chief scientist of the Chinese Science Academy, says that seeing such symptoms, it creates a mysterious combination. According to educationist Zhou Zhonghe, this discovery challenges the previous beliefs.

Earlier, Archaeopteryx was the only known bird of the Jurassic period. But the new fossil discovered suggests that other early birds were also present during that time. The team says that a mixture of old and advanced characteristics in this ancient bird is an example of mosaic evolution.
