According to the report, the feature is expected to be released in an upcoming update and is currently part of the beta. It allows users to select and attach photos to the poll. This means that users can use a specific photo for each poll option.

WABetaInfo says this may be especially important in situations where text detail may not be complete. A visual context would be more beneficial. For example, if the WhatsApp channel is based on art, design or food, then it would be better to keep a photo as a poll option. This is where this feature comes in most handy.

However, it still has some limitations. For example once a photo is associated with a poll option, other poll options must also include the photo and cannot contain text. Also, for now this feature will be available only for channels and it may take some time to reach group chat and personal chat.

According to WABetaInfo, this feature is still a work in progress and will only be available in a future update. There is no current release timeline, so users will have to wait for its official launch.
