China Humanoid Robotic Wins 21 km Part Marathon in Beijing Subsidized Through Xiaomi Ubtech all main points

History was formed in the city of Beijing in China when Half Marathon was held for Humanoid robots for the first time. The 21 -km race won by a robot named “Tien Kung Ultra”, which has been prepared by the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center. This center has the support of the Chinese government and wants to make itself the “Android” of the world of robotics, an open and scalable platform.

According to SCMP report, the height of Tien Kung Extremely Robot is about 180 cm and weighs 55 kg. The center says that it completed the race in about 2 hours 40 minutes. During this time the battery was changed three times. The technical team says that if a large battery was installed, weight gain would have affected the movement of the robot. That is why battery management was necessary between balance and efficiency.

This robot and center are not a private project. It was started by three big companies in November 2023, including Beijing Jingcheng Equipment Electrical, Xiaomi Robotics and UBTech Robotics and all three have a share of 28.57%. The remaining 14.29% shares are near the subsidiary of Yizhuang Holdings, which is a state-on investment firm.

The focus of the X-Humanoid Center is to make core platforms of hardware and software for humanoid robots. Its general manager is UBTech’s Chief Technology Officer Xiong Youjun, who has been associated with many big robotics projects earlier.

This event was not just a show, but is a sign of serious progress of China’s robotics sector. It is clear that China now wants to become a manufacturer and platform leader in this industry.
