Alitalia successor ITA to start Delhi-Rome nonstops from December 4 – Times of India

LOS ANGELES: Get ready for a Roman holiday. ITA Airways, successor to the failed Italian carrier Alitalia, will start nonstops between Delhi and Rome from December 4, 2022. The airline will deploy an Airbus A330 thrice weekly (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday).
The flight will leave Delhi at 3.50 am and arrive at Rome Flumicino at 8.10 am. The return flight will take off at 2 pm and arrive 2 am next day (all timings local). The airline says it will provide convenient connections in Italy, Europe and the Americas.
India’s DEX Group will be ITA’s general sales agent here. “We are confident the DEX Group will support ITA to establish a strong sales and marketing network across India to achieve our commercial goals from the India market,” said Fabio Bigotti the recently-appointed ITA Airways country manager for India.
