Bharat Cellular Congress: What will be announcements
Bharat Cellular Congress is being organized this time with the Future Is Now theme. It is likely to showcase cases of 5G use of telecom companies, in addition to announcements related to cloud and edge computing, IOT, semiconductor, cyber security, green tech, saatcom and electronics.
The event is being held at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, which started from 10 am. Today, PM Modi will also inaugurate the World Telecom Standards Assembly (WTSA) 2024, which is being organized by the International Telecommunication Union for the first time in India as well as the Asia-Pacific. The World Telecom Standardizesh Sabha (WTSA) conference is held at a interval of 4 years. Recommendations and proposals in WTSA determine the direction of development of communication technology.
IMC 2024 is expected to participate in over 400 exhibitions, about 900 startups and more than 120 countries. Let us tell you that in IMC 2023, more than 230 exhibitions were registered, including more than 400 startups with 67 countries. The annual India Mobile Congress (IMC) has almost doubled since last year in terms of participation of other countries, exhibitions, startups etc.
