Attention Whatsapp will not run on these iPhones in a few weeks

Iphones running on iOS 10 or iOS 11 versions will soon stop supporting WhatsApp from October 24. Old iPhone users have to upgrade their handsets to iOS 12 or new version to continue using WhatsApp. This may have to upgrade the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5C users to the new iPhone model. Another report also states that it is difficult to update these iPhone models to the new iOS build.

According to a report in May by WABETAINFO, Apple will soon stop supporting WhatsApp on the iPhone 5 and iPhone 5C. According to the report, WhatsApp can discontinue support for iOS 10 and iOS 11 by October 24.

The iPhone 5 and iPhone 5C users may face hardware upgrade, as it is practically not possible to install the iOS update, which will support WhatsApp. However, users with iPhone 5s or later models can update to iOS 12 and continue to get WhatsApp support.

WhatsApp has updated its frequently asked FAQ page to show these changes. To keep the messaging platform running on its handset, iPhone users will need to update on iOS 12 or new version. However, if we talk about Android, the app still supports the device running on Android 4.1 or above.

Most Apple users should not have any problem with this step. If we talk about accurate data, 89% iPhone users are running iOS 15. In addition, 82 percent of all Apple users have upgraded iOS 15 and only 4 percent of users have iOS 13 or older versions.

To update your iPhone, go to Settings> Normal> Instrument Improve and select the iOS version you want to install.
