Asus launches laptop worth more than Rs 4 lakh


Taiwan’s legendary technology company Asus on Wednesday launched the world’s first liquid-cooled laptop in India. Asus ROG GX 700 laptop is priced at Rs 4,12,990. Along with this, the company also launched ROG Strike GL 502 Gaming Laptop.

Under the Republic of Gamers Series of Asus’s Gaming Hardware, ROG GX 700 Premium Gaming Laptop has been launched. The laptop comes with a detachable ROG exclusive hydro overlocking system cooling module with a 92mm dual radiator. The company says that they can also destroy more than 500 watts of heat. A suitcase with ROG theme is available with this laptop. If the users want, according to their own, without overlocking modules can choose from the traditional cooling system.

The ROG GX 700 has a sixth generation’s Intel ‘Skylec’ Core I7-6820HK processor that runs on 2.7 GHz. This laptop has 16 GB DDR4 RAM which can be increased to 64 GB. For graphics, the company has given a separate Nvidia Zefforce GTX 980 GPU which is equipped with 8 GB GDDR5 Veeram.

According to Asus, the Hydro overlock system ROG GX700 not only provides cooling capacity but also creates the possibility of superior overlocking. CPU can be overlock up to 48 percent and DDR4 memory can be overlockd up to 43 percent. The ROG GX 700 Gaming Laptop has a UHD (3840×2160 pixels) monitor of 17.3 inch 4 with Nvidia G-Sink Technology.

Asus ROG GX 700 can be purchased only through the site of Asus India. According to the company, these laptops are available only in limited numbers.

As we said, Asus has also launched ROG Strike GL 502 in India. This compact gaming laptop has a UHD display of 15.6 inch 4. The base variant (with full HD display) of ROG Strike GL 502 is priced at Rs 1,27,990. It has the Intel Core i7-6800AQ processor and NVDia GForce for Graphics is GTX 97M GPU. This laptop can be purchased online and offline.
