NASA today issued an alert for a large asteroid as an airplane. This rock is going to come close to the earth in a few hours. Its name is Esteroid 2023 YD which is 92 feet wide. NASA compared its size to an aeroplane. Asteroid has been discovered only in 2023. It is scheduled to pass close to the Earth on 28 December. When it is at the closest point of the earth, the distance between the Earth and the Esteroid will be just 6 lakh kilometers. NASA says that the anteroid within a radius of 75 million kilometers can prove to be dangerous. According to this, this asteroid is going to come very close.

NASA’s alert on Esteoid is almost coming, which is telling that they are constantly targeting the Earth. Even the previous day a large asteroid has passed by the Earth. It was 72 feet asteroid. Its name has been described as 2023 x01. It has passed close to 24.1 lakh kilometers close to the Earth.

Esteoid collision with the earth is considered a very rare incident. But the possibility cannot be ruled out. Because compared to the size of the planet, asteroids are quite small. In such a situation, the gravity of the earth can easily pull them towards itself. According to the National Science Foundation, the gravity of the Earth is so powerful that it can pull an object towards itself at a speed of 9.8 meters per second. In such a situation, the meteor bodies also get drawn towards the earth. The fall of both esteroid and meteor bodies on the earth can be harmful.
