The company said that about $ 1.8 billion fraud transactions have been stopped at the app store last year. Apart from this, more than 17 lakh app applications have been rejected due to the company not completing the standard related to privacy, content and security.
Apart from this, the company has terminated about 37.4 crore developers and customers’ accounts. About 15.2 million ratings and reviews have also been removed due to the possibility of fraud. Apple said that the review team of about 500 employees evaluates each app before publishing on the app store.
The company has prepared to increase its manufacturing in India. Apple’s target is to target 25 percent of the total manufacturing of iPhones in the next three-four years. For this, a network of local vendors is being created instead of sourcing inputs from Chinese vendors. A media report quoted sources who are aware of the company’s plan as saying that a large part of Manufacturing in Apple’s country will have its contract manufacturer Foxconn and Tata Electronics of Tata Electronics, company of Tata Workforce. India is an important market for the company. By the end of last year, 14 percent of the total manufacturing of Apple’s iPhones was in India.
