Apple Guard Saves Guy Generation With Strike Detection Trait Upcoming Unpleasant Strike Leaves Him Trapped in Puddle

A 55-year-old man was stuck upside down in a swimming pool after a car accident, after which Apple’s smartwatch helped save his life. The incident took place on December 16, when the man, identified as Brent Hill, lost consciousness while driving, causing his car to go off the road, hit a neighbour’s garage and fall into a pool. Upon regaining consciousness, Hill heard his Apple Watch sending an alert to emergency services through the crash detection feature. Although the man suffered minor injuries, Hill believes the Watch prevented a worse outcome.

Apple Guard helped save the life of Brent Hill of Easthampton, Massachusetts, Apple Insider reports. Hill himself admitted this and also gave full credit to Apple Watch for saving his life. His car overturned in the swimming pool after the accident. He became unconscious during this incident. When he regained consciousness, he heard his Apple Guard sending an alert to emergency services.

“If emergency services hadn’t contacted me through that Apple Watch and explained to me how to stay calm and escape, there was no way I would have gotten out of there,” Hill said. He further said, “I knew there was a commotion, but I didn’t know where I was. The sound coming from the watch kept me calm. Without it, I probably would have drowned.”

Apple Guard has a crash detection feature, which automatically sends an alert to emergency services after detecting a crash. In the past also this feature has helped in saving many lives.

Hill suffered minor injuries in the accident, but Hill believes the outcome could have been much worse had his watch not sent an alert.
