Bloomberg’s analyst, Mark Gurman, in his Energy on Newsletter, has told that next year Apple’s foldable iPhone will be launched. It can be a book-style foldable smartphone. Its design can be similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Crease Series. Some technology of this smartphone may be similar to the upcoming iPhone 17 Wind. There is speculation that it may be the thinnest iPhone of Apple. If the company’s foldable iPhone is also kept so thin, then it will help Apple to compete with other smartphone companies in this segment.
Earlier, TF Securities Global’s analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo had reported that Apple’s supplier Dongguan Yi’an Generation can supply the liquid materials used on the bearings of this smartphone. The use of this material will increase the durability of foldable iPhone. Kuo claims that Yi’an Generation has supplied more than one crore shafts to Apple. This component is used in the foldable smartphone. Earlier, the company also used the same material in the SIM injector tool. This smartphone can have a 7.8 -inch inner display and a 5.5 -inch cover screen. Kuo had reported that the foldable iPhone’s inner screen would not be seen. A camera can also be found in the cover display of this smartphone.
The initial price of this foldable smartphone can be around $ 2,300 (about Rs 1,99,000). In comparison, Samsung’s Galaxy Z Crease 6 has an initial price of about $ 1,899 (Rs 1,64,200). The price of Google’s Pixel 9 Professional Crease starts at $ 1,799 (about Rs 1,54,700). Apple’s iPhone 16 Professional Max, launched last year, has an initial price of $ 1,199 (about Rs 1,00,600). Foldable iPhone’s hinz cover and middle frame’s Glorious Laser Applied Sciences may be the major suppliers.
