Apple foldable iPad Construction Reportedly Paused Know Who

Apple is going to bring foldable iPad in the market soon. A new report by Digitims recently revealed Apple’s strategy in the foldable device segment. Citing the supply chain source, the publication claims that Apple has temporarily prevented its foldable iPad due to production challenges and cost related problems. The company is now focused on its first foldable iPhone launch. Let’s know in detail about Apple’s upcoming tablet.

Foldable iPad work stopped

According to the report, Apple was preparing a foldable device with a large display, which was described by some people as foldable iPads and others as an all display MacBook. However, sources say that the company has now stopped the project due to manufacturing problems and high production costs. Creating a large and un -crease foldable OLED display remains a challenge at the Tech level, especially on Apple’s quality standard.

Apple is also concerned about the limited consumer demand of foldable tablet. Due to the high price, the device can find a place in the market. The device was rumored to feature seamless folds with an 18.8 -inch to 20.2 -inch OLED display and was expected to be released between 2026 and 2028.

Entry in iPhone foldable prototype testing

Work is going on on Apple’s foldable iPhone. The device reportedly reached the P1 prototype phase in June 2025 and could enter its engineering verification test (EVT) phase by the beginning of 2026.

According to the leak, the 7.8 -inch OLED display of Samsung will be found in the foldable iPhone. It is expected to get a Titanium alloy frame with side mounted touch ID scanner and liquid metal hinge for better durability. Apple wants to achieve almost non -looking crease. The device may be introduced in September 2026 with a price between $ 2,100 (about Rs 1,79,166) to $ 2,300 (about Rs 1,96,261).
