Halloween weekend’s big zombie event comes from Spain. Apocalypse Z: New World streams exclusively on Prime Video from Friday 30 October 2026, in more than 240 countries and territories. It is the sequel to 2024’s Apocalypse Z: The Beginning of the End, and it swaps lonely locked-door survival for a mission off the island into the infected mainland.
If you watched the first film, you remember the ending warning — the Canary Islands were not the safe haven they seemed. Supplies are running short, trust is running shorter, and a small team must go back to where the virus began.

The Story: A Supply Run That Goes Wrong
After the TSJ virus outbreak, the Canary Islands have become Europe’s last refuge, but they need food, medicine and fuel. A special mission leaves the islands for mainland Spain, aiming for Madrid. Roberto, played by Carlos Alcaide, joins with what Prime Video’s synopsis calls ulterior motives.
The first film was intimate — one grieving man, his cat Lúculo, and a barricaded house. The sequel widens to soldiers, rival factions and a military presence.
Cast And Crew: Who Is Back, Who Is New
Carles Torrens returns as director, Ángel Agudo writes, and Nostromo Pictures produces. Carlos Alcaide leads as Roberto, alongside Julia Martínez, Mónica López, Tamara Casellas, Santiago Vaca Narvaja, Axel Medrano, Pedro Hernández, Javier Godino, Ujin Moreno and Mario Mayo. José María Yazpik returns as Pritchenko, Berta Vázquez is back as Lucía, and the cat Lúculo returns.
Why This One Is Worth Your Halloween Weekend
It is a mission with a deadline, an infected destination, and a team that cannot fully trust each other. The 30 October Halloween timing is perfect, and this is a Spanish genre film, not an English remake, with a festival run at Sitges and Screamfest.
For Indian viewers, the virus, the island refuge, the mainland mission and the impossible choices translate easily — watch it dubbed or subtitled. See our Movies coverage, OTT News, and Reviews.
How To Watch In India
It streams exclusively on Prime Video in India from 30 October 2026, with a regular Prime subscription and no separate rental window announced. The full synopsis, cast and runtime are listed on Rotten Tomatoes.
