Acer to build up its proportion in ‘Make in India’, will enlarge into ai pc

Acer, one of the large consumer electronics companies, plans to increase its stake in the Make in India campaign. India is in major markets for Acer. The company has announced that it will move forward in the country’s tech market through new segments like Consumer Electronics, AI PC and Emobility.

In the coming years, ACER plans to bring more eco -friendly technologies to fulfill its commitment to become carbon neutral over the scheduled period. The Modi government started the Make in India campaign to increase the focus on manufacturing. It aims to invest, increase innovation, improve skill development and make the country an international manufacturing hub. Acer has reported that it will tie-up for its desktops, laptops, tablets, services and workstations with local original design manufacturers (ODM).

“The country has a lot of potential for innovation and expansion in the country, CEO of Acer, Jason Chen. Recently, the company had told in COP28 held in Dubai that it has the goal of making laptops equipped with Artificial Intelligence (AI) through its eco -friendly ‘Aware Era’. These series of laptops have an ASPIRE VERO. The Taiwan’s company said, “Acer promised to achieve carbon neutrality for the Aspire Vero laptop series. It starts with the new ASPRERE VERO 16.”

The Central Government announced a $ two billion manufacturing incentive scheme with the aim of attracting large investments in IT Hardware Manufacturing. The government aims to increase the annual production of electronics by 2026 to $ 300 billion. Large companies selling laptops in the country include Apple, Dell, Lenovo, HP, Acer, Samsung and LG. However, a large number of laptops are imported from countries like China. South Korea’s Galaxy Store 4 series may be launched soon. It will replace the Galaxy Store 3 launched in February this year. This may include Galaxy Store 4 360, Galaxy Store 4 360 Professional, Galaxy Store 4 Professional and Galaxy Store 4 Extremely.
