WhatsApp is spotted working on an ‘avatar’ section. This will allow users to create their own virtual representation and share them as stickers in chat. This means that while chatting, you will be able to send your own avatar based stickers to your friends and relatives. According to a feature tracker, the latest beta of WhatsApp for Android is a code allowing to create an avatar in the beta version, as in Facebook and Messenger. It is said that the company is also planning to allow users to do their own face mask during video calls. However, WhatsApp ownership company Mata has not yet told about any details related to Avatar section.

According to a report by feature tracker WABetaInfo, WhatsApp in future updates can offer a dedicated section for avatars on its platform. This section for Android was seen on beta version 2.22.16.11, which is available through Google Play Games Beta Program. It is said that the company is working on a feature that will allow users to make them incarnated and customize it. Users will be able to share it as a sticker.

‘Avatars’ were first spotted with WhatsApp beta version 2.22.15.5 for Android. The report states that users may be allowed to change themselves with these avatars during video calls. WhatsApp has not announced this feature yet. It is said that it is in the development phase. There is no information about the launch of the feature.

An alcohol screenshot of Avatar section has also been shared. This gives information about possible avatars that users will be able to create. The option of ‘Create Your Avatar’ appears under the image. Another screenshot states, ‘A new way of your presence on WhatsApp’. It is said that avatars for this platform have been taken from Facebook.

According to a recent report, WhatsApp is also working on presenting a quick reaction for status updates on Android app. This feature was reportedly seen with WhatsApp beta version 2.22.16.10 for Android. According to the report, the company is also working on issuing an updated gallery view for the beta version of the Windows Desktop WhatsApp app.
