Insta360 has launched its new 360-degree camera Insta360 X5 in India. This camera is an upgrade to the previous version Insta360 X4 and has features like 8K video recording, large sensor and new purevideo technology. The X5 camera can click photos of 72MP and 18MP resolution. It has HDR, Break, Starlapse and Blast Modes. The company claims that the sensors in the X5 are 144% larger than the previous X4 model.

The Insta360 has priced X5 in India at Rs 54,990 and is available to buy the device on Amazon and the company’s official website. A Necessibility Gather with the INSTA360 X5 has also been introduced, including extra battery, fast charging case, selfie stick, standard lens guards, lens caps and cai cases. The price of this bundle has been kept at Rs 67,990 in India.

The Insta360 X5 has 1/1.28-inch sensor which comes with f/2.0 aperture. It can record up to 8k/30fps in 360-degree mode, while on using single lens it can record up to 4K/60fps. The camera supports modes like Purevideo, Timelaps, Bullet Age, Loop Recording, Highway Form and Timeshift.

Talking about photography, you can click photos of Insta360 X5 72MP and 18MP resolution. It has HDR, Break, Starlapse and Blast Modes. This camera has two imaging chips and a 5Nm AI chip, which works exclusively for low-light recording like purevideo. The device provides 6-Axis Gyroscope, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2 (Low Power) and USB 3.0 Sort-C support.

The Insta360 X5 also has a substitute lens equipment feature, which can change the lens in case of damage. It also has four microphones with steel mesh, which help reduce wind noise. In addition, it also has a magnetic mounting system from which accessories can be changed quickly.

The camera has a 2,400mAh battery, which according to the company can be charged up to 80% in just 20 minutes. Once on the charge, this camera can record for 185 minutes at 5.7k/24fps in perpetuity mode, while on 8k/30fps it is limited to 88 minutes. The camera has received an IP68 rating and claims to be a water-resistant up to 15 meters (49 ft).
