Redmi 6
Chinese mobile manufacturer Xiaomi’s Redmi 6 smartphone was launched in September last year. Redmi 6 is a great option in the price segment of less than Rs 7,000. In our review, we found that the build quality of the phone is good. The screen of the phone and its viewing angles are also good. The MediaTek Helio P22 processor has been used for speed and multitasking in Redmi 6. Its performance is good and we did not have any kind of problem.
Due to the low-end processor in the phone, it also has some limitations such as this processor is not able to handle heavy apps much well. The battery life of the phone is also very good, in our HD video loop test, the phone supported 14 hours and 34 minutes. Pictures taken from Redmi 6 in sufficient lights were good but the pictures in low-light were not very good.
Xiaomi Redmi 6 has two variants- one with 3 GB and 32 GB storage variants and the other with 3 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variants. However, in this price segment, you will only get its 3 GB RAM variant.
Realme c1
Oppo’s sub-brand Reality has launched many best smartphones in the last one year and this phone is also one of them. Recall that Realme C1 was launched in 2018 last year but the company introduced Reality C1 in a new avatar in January this year. The new avatar was launched with more RAM and storage variants.
In our review we found that a large bright display of Realme C1 (Review) comes with attractive and saturated colors. The battery life of the phone is its strength. The phone has a 4,230 mAh battery to revive the phone, in our HD video loop test, the phone supported us for 20 hours and 23 minutes. This phone comes with dual 4G VoLTE support.
The phone handles the noys well in low light. In our review unit, we did not like the performance of the phone much and the reason behind this may be less RAM in the old Reality C1. Three variants of Realme C1 are sold- 2 GB RAM/ 16 GB storage variants, 2 GB RAM/ 32 GB storage variants and 3 GB RAM/ 32GB storage variants. In a budget of less than Rs 7,000, you will get only 2 GB RAM/16 GB storage variants.
Redmi 6A
The Redmi 6A was launched in India with Redmi 6. Redmi 6A (review) is a good option for all customers who do not have the budget Redmi 6 to buy. Redmi 6A has a separate camera setup, separate processor, camera RAM and storage variants as compared to Redmi 6.
In our review, we found that the performance of Redmi 6A is fine, because the phone slows down when closing the application and using the task switcher. Advertisement in MIUI is a major problem that you will also find in Redmi 6A. The camera performance of the phone is also correct.
In our HD video loop test, Xiaomi Redmi 6A played with us for 13 hours and 22 minutes. The Redmi 6A has two variants- one with 2 GB and 16 GB storage variants and the other with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage variants. We would advise you to go with 32 GB storage variants.
Infinix scorching s3x
Infinix Hot S3X was launched in India for Rs 9,999. But after the price cut, Infinix Scorching S3X can now be purchased for less than Rs 7,000. The color of the phone screen is good and its viewing angles are good. The camera performance of the phone is also an important feature.
The back of the Infinix Scorching S3x has two rear cameras, photographs with good clarity in daylight and it is above average. In this segment, we also liked its low-light camera performance. In our HD video loop test, the phone supported for 11 hours and 5 minutes. The performance of the phone is also not very good.
Heavy apps take a long time to open and we noticed that the phone slowed down a bit during scrolling on Facebook and Twitter. Infinix Scorching S3X has only one variant that comes with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage variants.
Asus zenfone Lite L1
The Janephone Light L1 of Asus brand is also a good phone in this budget. The viewing angles of the phone’s display are also good, the screen is small, due to which it is also easy to run the phone with one hand. The phone has less RAM, due to which it takes a little more time to load things. The user interface of the phone is smooth but it slows down when many apps are going on in the background.
The camera performance and battery life of Asus Zenfone Lite L1 is average. In our HD video loop test, the phone supported for only 9 hours and 10 minutes. There is only one variant of Zenfone Lite L1 in India that comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB inbuilt storage.
Redmi Move
After bringing two Android One smartphones like Mi A1 and Mi A2, Xiaomi launched the Redmi Move phone equipped with Android Go Edition this year. This phone is for those whose budget is low. In our review, we found that the phone’s hardware is as much as the uses of a basic smartphone. The processor is correct but with it the phone has 1 GB of RAM.
The phone slowed down several times during the day -long task. The screen sharp of Redmi Move (Review) is good and its viewing angles are good. Given the price of the phone, the camera is also fine, but you cannot expect to click good pictures from the phone. Pictures in low light are captured with granney and noys. In our HD video loop test, the phone supported for 9 hours and 50 minutes. The phone has made a place in our list because this phone is for those whose budget is low.
