Computer will control Android smartphone music, Microsoft is testing feature

Microsoft is testing on a new feature, with the help of which Android users Home Windows 10 will be able to control the music of their smartphone through computer. Users will be able to access and control the music of their Android smartphone directly through your Telephone app of computer. Currently, this feature is limited to ‘Your Phone App’ working on the latest window build, while Microsoft has said that this your phone app will gradually be rolled out for version 1.20041.82 and subsequent versions. Your phone app is developed by Microsoft for Window 10, so that it can be connected to the Android device. With the help of this app, not only music, but phone calls and photos in the phone can also be accessed in the computer.

Microsoft has said in its blog post that users can use play, pose and switch the music etc. through this app, which can be used in the audio app of their smartphone. The music app that your Telephone Desktop App can control the app includes Spotify, Pandora, Amazon Song, Google Play Games Song, YouTube Song, Xiaomi Song, and Google Podcast etc. The post states that if permission is given by your phone, then the play music of your phone will be seen in your computer in the by default your phone app.

Regarding the system in which this facility will support this facility, Microsoft has made it clear that this feature will be available in the same computer, which is updated after 10 October 2018. Apart from this, your Android phone works on Android 7 Nougat or above the version above it.

Microsoft also made it clear in his blog post that when he was testing this your Telephone App Music Control feature, he showed some problems, which is as follows-

1. Some audio apps support the previous track, while some of the ‘Rewind Track’.

2. Currently, YouTube videos and audio are not supporting this feature.

Significantly, earlier this month, Microsoft added a new feature to your Telephone Desktop App, in which Samsung users can drag and drop their phone file with the help of Wi-Fi in the file window 10 computer. However, once again this feature was available only to window insider build users.
