Scientists at the Aryabhata Research Institute of Environmental Sciences (Aries) in Nainital, along with scientists of Rome, discovered a large cosmic explosion at a distance of 1 billion light years. The gamma ray burst or GRB he had detected and 1 billion light years away from the earth.
