Camera in Apple Attend to
According to Mark Gurman, Apple Attend to Standard is working on an embedded camera inside the Apple display for model. However, it is not yet clear that it will be through under-display sensor or visible cutout. The plan on Apple Attend to Extremely is slightly more different, a visible camera module placed next to the digital crown, allowing users to point their wrist and scan the object faster.
These cameras will not be for selfie or facetime calls, it is still not easy for such a small screen. Instead, focus is on increasing visual intelligence. A camera, AI based features will be found in an Apple Attend to, the feature that was introduced on the iPhone 16 and allows users to get AI generated information immediately if they point their devices on an object or text.
Apple is also allegedly working on airpods with built-in infrared cameras. However, there is not much information yet, in which the work is being done to turn the spatial audio better and gesture based control that interact with the AR Environment. In this, users rotate their heads or shake their hands in the air and their device will respond to it. All this will depend on transferring visual intelligence through Apple to transfer your own in their own house systems instead of depending on the third party AI model like Chatgpt. This is a big feature, but if the Apple completes it, the wearable can look very different.
