Xiaomi has launched Ingenious Digicam Video Name Version (Name translated from Chinese) in China. The smart camera can be placed on a flat surface. It is priced at 299 yuan (about Rs 3,500) in China. The company says that the device can be purchased through the company’s official e-store and JD.com.
Xiaomi Ingenious Digicam Video Name Version offers a 3.5-inch IPS color display equipped with 320 × 480 resolution. The device is equipped with a 4MP camera, claiming to have a clear and vivid image. The display does not come with touchscreen, but the body has two buttons, through which it can be controlled. The camera present in it is an ultra-wide lens, which claims to capture a scene up to 131 degrees.
The camera supports 2.5K Ultra HD imaging and uses advanced AI algorithms. This includes an advanced infrared night vision with 940nm lights, which claims to capture a clean picture even in the dark. The company says that the smart camera supports several AI-powered features, which help in giving noise alert or giving customized notifications.
The camera supports two-way video calling. It can be connected with a smartphone. Hyperos connectivity support is also available to connect Xiaomi ecosystem. The camera can also be connected with TV or other compatible devices and monitoring or video calling on large displays.
The device includes dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz) support. It offers three storage options – microSD card (up to 256GB), cloud storage and NSA.
