Apple Suffers Obese Jolt as International PC Shipments Fade by of 29 pc

Global shipments have decreased by 29 percent in the first quarter of Personal Computer (PC). There are major reasons for weak demand, more inventory and economy status behind this. This has caused major damage to the American company apple making MAC computers.

The report of market research firm IDC states that PC’s global shipments were reduced to 5.69 million in the first quarter of this year. It was 8.02 crore in the same period of the previous year. In the last quarter of the previous year, these shipments decreased by 28.1 percent on a year-on-year basis. Apple’s shipments in the first quarter decreased by about 40.5 percent of the highest. Shipments decreased for DELL was 31 percent. Apart from this, Lenovo, Asustek PC and HP have also faced a decline in shipments in the first quarter.

Apple had reported in February that the sale of his MAC computers increased rapidly due to the work from Home during the epidemic. In this, there has been a decrease of 29 percent on a year-on-year basis for value in the last quarter. IDC said, “Demand reduction companies have got the opportunity to change the supply chain. Many companies are exploring the possibility of increasing production out of China.” There is a possibility of slowdown in the economy of big countries. In some big banks, financial crisis and increase in inflation can cause growth and investment.

However, iPhone sales have been good for Apple. The number and value of iPhones made in India increased last year. Apple is shifting production from China to diversify its supply chain and due to this, the production of the company’s devices in India has increased. Recently, the report of Counterpoint reported that the shipments of iPhones manufactured in India have increased by 65 percent on a year-on-year basis last year. Apart from this, the value of iPhone has increased by 162 percent. Last year, Apple had about 25 percent stake in the total shipments of smartphones from India. About 85 percent of the worldwide iPhones are manufactured in China. However, efforts of Apple’s efforts to shift their manufacturing out of China may reduce it.
