Whatsapp Default Media Quality Settings
It was first seen by Android police that WhatsApp for Android platforms now allows users to set default media upload quality. This means that users can set the default quality setting on HD, each time they share a photo or video with someone on WhatsApp.
The new togle is present in the setting option under storage and data in WhatsApp. Gadgets 360 staff members verified the availability of this feature in the new stable WhatsApp for Android. As seen in the screenshot, this feature is available as a new media upload quality option that offers two options:
Standard Quality: Fast in sending small size files and Hd quality: Sending can be slow, 6 times larger. The feature tracker Wabetainfo suggested that WhatsApp was testing this feature in March. However, according to claims it was not available for beta testers at that time.
Whatsapp Channel Analytics
It is being said that WhatsApp is testing a new channel analytics feature for Android. It was reported to be seen in app version 2.24.13.10. It is estimated that this feature will provide analytics with metrics such as Net follow and how many accounts access to WhatsApp channel owners. It is said that it provides information about the audience engagement and the performance of WhatsApp channel. According to the feature tracker, work is still going on on this feature and it has not been released for beta testers yet.
