Under the Deep Ocean Venture, Indian researchers have detected a piercing airway below the surface in the Indian Ocean that exists 4500 meters below. It is a hydrothermal vent. The National Institute of Ocean Generation (NIT) and National Center for Polar and Ocean Research (Nationwide Center for Polar and Ocean Analysis (NCPOR) have done this work together. Vent is discovered in the Indian Ocean.
